ARSENAL CAMP 2008, IT WAS FANTASTIC!!

 The second  Italian edition of Arsenal Camp has just finished. We registered an increase of participants compared to last year. It has been a great success, not only considering the numbers, but even in contents: the players described the event as the “most beautiful Camp in Italy” thanks to the selected locations, the technical activities on game fields,  the exciting English lessons, the assistance, the evening animation and the recreational activities. During the Arsenal Camp we appreciated the presence of Silvia and Marco Storari Soccer School and the Boston College female team, With whom we created a collaboration that will produce in the next year important events. The first proper thanks go to John and Bubs (Arsenal Soccer School instructors), who, supported by British Institute Teachers, directed and coordinated the training sessions and English lessons.  Also this time Gunners’ instructors distinguished themselves by their technical preparation, enthusiasm and capacity. The applause must be extended to the Sport Center “La Borghesiana” of Rome and the Sport center “Salicone” of Norcia (PG). We really appreciated their kind staff. Among the protagonists of the three weeks, a deep thanks goes even to our staff who followed the players inside and outside the game field: We’ve been glad to see friends such as Fabrizio Cimei, Sebastiano Rasi, Claudio Tinaglia, Francesco Gaccione, Roberto Fausti, Marco Mazza, Roberto,  Giovanna from British Institutes, Erica & Valentina for the animation at the Borghesiana center and Equipè Mediterraneo in Norcia.  Anyway the biggest thanks go to to all the participants coming from all over Italy and also other countries such as Camerun, USA, Ucraina, Cile, Svezia, Brasile, Kuwait and Canada: Thanks to everybody! From today on you can consider yourselves true “Gunners”. We spent beautiful days and we shared unique moments with you. The appointment is for next summer to keep on singing louder: “Arsenal, Arsenal, Arsenal…..”!!
